There are many applications within corporate buildings and trading floors. Basically where there is a need for TV signals to be viewed or displayed within a building, Taylor Bros has a solution to suit. Trading floors can be installed in two ways. The first is shared large screens located around the trading desks and communal areas and the second at the desktop on the PC's. Sometimes there can be a mixture of both applications, having limited channels multicast across the network to the desktop with a larger selection on the main screens.
This allows for a complete TV distribution system to be installed in a central location as you would with an RF system. Then allocate channels to chosen areas of the building. It is also possible in the distribution system to provide infrared pass through for controlling the head end equipment from your selected areas. This is very useful in boardrooms were presenters need control of satellite decoders, DVD's and VCR's. They simply use the handset supplied with the equipment and control the set top box as if it was situated in the same room. This can also apply to reception areas and canteen facilities.
